Help Us, Help Them Dog Rescue; previously known as Lending a Helping Paw Dog Rescue, brought in 26 Shih Tzu adults, plus 9 puppies from a bad situation and we could really use your #help. We found out about this case on Friday, 5 hours before we picked them all up. We have 7 of them that may be pregnant and currently have 3 puppies that are 10-14 days old, declining in health and currently being supplemented every 2 hours.
Right now we're just focused on their overall health and not focused on the entire situation. We need urgent Donations. Each dog will need to have a full blood panel completed on top of being fixed, fully vetted, heartworm test, fecal and microchipped. On top of it all, 2 of the other rescues who also took dogs had a total of 5 parvo cases with their puppies. We are having each dog tested and all of the adults who are nursing have been given their first round of vaccines. The fleas were so bad that we had to give them a Capstar each morning for the past 3 days. We've already invested over $2,000 into this case along and we haven't even started the medical yet. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
